This was a demo we performed for our client. We used our soft wash technique to safely apply our detergents to neutralize the black algae, followed by a low pressure rinse.

The building we cleaned with this project was close to 180,000 square feet. With our soft wash process were able to complete this in 2 days! Imagine how long it would take someone using a standard pressure washer!

Our method of roof cleaning uses very low pressure (about as much as a garden hose) so as to not remove any shingle granules. We apply our cleaning solutions with our application system, which is designed soley for this purpose. After application, within minutes the algae (This algae is called Gloeocapsa Magma, it is what makes up the black streaks on roofs. This algae actually feeds on the limestone that is present in asphalt shingles, causing premature wear) is neutralized. It will dry up and the rain will gently rinse the roof leaving it looking like new.
